I first came across the notion of taking Saw Palmetto while looking for natural androgen blockers. I'm a female with the symptoms of having excess androgens - but all cosmetic, nonetheless still bothersome. Things like acne, a little more body and facial hair than average and recently, for the past year, my hair has been thinning! Pretty scary, especially for how young I am.
I've been using Women's Rogaine previous to this product, which has worked wonders. I lose only a few strands a day, whereas before, I was losing hairs constantly; clumps in my brush, in the shower, while styling, etc. So I haven't noticed a change in the hair department since taking this product.
But my skin has cleared up amazingly! I still use the same topical treatment (the Acnefree sysytem), but the difference in my complexion is very different and very nice. I have almost no new blemishes. My skin isn't nearly as oily. For that reason alone, this product is totally worth it for me! I would definitely recommend it to other ladies with similar issues.
(PS. I take two capsules a day - one in the morning, one at night).

When I first started to see my hairline recede it was receding at a fairly rapid pace. Ever since I started taking saw palmetto (not just this brand, but others as well) my recession of hair has came to a crawl or stopped altogether. I was also hoping that it would help with my bladder weakness, but I haven't seen much or any improvement. Maybe I'm not taking enough as I take 3-4 a day while the bottle says to take 6 a day for intensive use. Another thing I should point out is that maybe I don't have a weak bladder and that maybe I'm always going is because I drink HELLA water...more water and fluids than anyone I know.
